Rankin’s long-awaited brand new biannual fashion and lifestyle magazine drops tomorrow. It is called The Hunger (with it’s online counterpart at hunger.tv) and I just had the pleasure of flicking through it in detail. Supported by the Dazed Group and with the majority of visuals produced by the acclaimed photographer, you can’t really go wrong. The Hunger is being dubbed as “a pioneering magazine and website designed to inspire and incite the creative hunger in us all and a platform for young emerging talent across all artistic fields” – this automatically gets the KARLISMYUNKLE seal of approval.
The debut issue includes interviews with Rhys Ifans, Terence Stamp, Ray Winstone, Danny Dyer, Hayley Atwell, Plan B, Michael Sheen and Sally Hawkins, plus fashion stories with Kelis, Kelly Rowland, Sky Ferreira, Milla Jovovich, Erin O’Connor and Heidi Klum. Every issue is set to be available with one female cover and one male cover with Issue One featuring Rhys Ifans and Sky Ferreira. Images below.
