Indie pop princess Sky Ferreira has teamed up with Grant Singer once again for the fourth video from GHOST EP – Lost In My Bedroom. With Everything Is Embarrassing nailing every “Best Song of 2012” list that actually matters – 2013 had better be the year of the Ferreira (and Britney, Gaga, Beyonce, Azealia and the rest of pop). In all seriousness, if anyone deserves it, it is Sky. Her debut studio album, I’m Not Alright is set to drop in Q3 of next year and is produced by Ariel Rechtshaid, Jon Brion and Blake Mills.

In an editorial titled V: Girls Of Now, KARLISMYUNKLE faves Sky Ferreira, Azealia Banks, Charli XCX and Grimes are all featured, photographed by Sharif Hamza with styling by Tom Van Dorpe. the editorial also features Venus X, Porcelain Black and Trixie Whitley (under the cut). V80 is out now.

The third and most beautifully directed video from Sky Ferreira’s latest EP ‘GHOST’ has arrived. From the creative vision of Grant Singer comes the clip for Sad Dream, telling the somewhat enchanting (yet dark) story of Sky and an older gentleman that appears to be her father.

Out on October 2, here is the artwork for Sky Ferreira’s GHOST EP by Hedi Slimane. As always Sky looks stunning and her choice of photographer couldn’t have been more perfect. The EP features contributions from Jon Brion, producer Ariel Rechtshaid and Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes. The latter two co-produced the incredible track “Everything Is Embarrassing” (which you can listen to below).

Marking Richardson’s first major directorial foray into pop video comes the clip for Sky Ferreira’s Greg Kurstin/Garbage-produced Red Lips. Staying totally true to what has become the Richardson-aesthetic, the simple music video exposes a rawness of Sky through his lens. It works, and also features Toby the Tarantula.

Rankin’s long-awaited brand new biannual fashion and lifestyle magazine drops tomorrow. It is called The Hunger (with it’s online counterpart at and I just had the pleasure of flicking through it in detail. Supported by the Dazed Group and with the majority of visuals produced by the acclaimed photographer, you can’t really go wrong. The Hunger is being dubbed as “a pioneering magazine and website designed to inspire and incite the creative hunger in us all and a platform for young emerging talent across all artistic fields” – this automatically gets the KARLISMYUNKLE seal of approval.

The debut issue includes interviews with Rhys Ifans, Terence Stamp, Ray Winstone, Danny Dyer, Hayley Atwell, Plan B, Michael Sheen and Sally Hawkins, plus fashion stories with Kelis, Kelly Rowland, Sky Ferreira, Milla Jovovich, Erin O’Connor and Heidi Klum.
