Showcasing fashion’s most spectacular physiques in digital and physical book form, comes a personal project by leading industry photographer and KARLISMYUNKLE favourite Mariano Vivanco. Earlier this month, we saw three stunning features from Candy issue #4 – The Extravagance Issue, and now here is a preview of what is guaranteed to be one of the most exciting editorials within the magazine. Here is a behind the scenes clip of ‘An Extraordinary Wedding’ starring Jodie Harsh by Mariano Vivanco and styled by Charles Adesanya. The footage is directed and edited by Basement Film Productions and is pretty NSFW.
You will have already seen the rather stunning campaign images from the new Dolce & Gabbana campaign for The One Sport starring Adam Senn and shot by Mariano Vivanco. Now here is the full TV and digital commercial. The Roman Gladiator-esque spot is pretty breathtaking.
During the brilliant Mariano Vivanco shoot for the Dolce & Gabbana SS12 Man Campaign themed around pure Italian authenticity and its cinematic beauty, filmographer Leandro Manuel Ermede created a short film featuring the talent from the shoot including actors Francesco Scianna, Filippo Nigro, Primo Reggiani, Beppe Fiorello, Thomas Trabacchi and Chiara Francini. Definitely worth a watch.
From London’s groundbreaking club night, comes “Hold Your Wig” the sequel to the first Room Service sextape launched back in June of this year. Once again the short is directed the the inimitable Thomas Knights.
This time around it stars Jodie Harsh and Soho Princess and DJ Munroe Bergdorf in some rather humorous situations as an unsuspecting Room Service attendee (played by Nigel Meadows) attempts to piece together the antics that took place the night before. The film was shot at the W Hotel London and the track featured is Hold Your Wig by Kris Di Angelis and Tom Stephan. Stay tuned for Part III coming soon. If you’re in London on 29 December, one of KARLISMYUNKLE’s favourite fashion photographers Mariano Vivanco will be hosting the club night.
Absolutely loving Mariano Vivanco’s Dolce & Gabbana campaign debut for Spring Summer 12 menswear. Old school and epic. Definitely pushing Vivanco’s work to new boundaries. Shot in Portofino, Dolce & Gabbana is celebrating Italian cinema – a continuous source of inspiration for the duo – who have creatively directed the campaign as a film interpreted by real actors: Giuseppe Fiorello, Francesco Scianna, Filippo Nigro, Thomas Trabacchi, Primo Reggiani and Chiara Francini.
More images portraying life in a Southern Italian village: a baptism, Sunday with the family, a portrait with mother, at the bar with friends, afternoons at the beach, courting the village beauty, guy talk, a stolen kiss on the docks and a birthday party with relatives are still set to come.
