Showcasing fashion’s most spectacular physiques in digital and physical book form, comes a personal project by leading industry photographer and KARLISMYUNKLE favourite Mariano Vivanco. Best known for his work with Dolce & Gabbana – and particularly his last book Uomini, Mariano has captured Anne Vyalitsyna, Melodie Monrose, Chiharu Okunugi, Sara Sampaio, Andrej Pejic, Caio Cesar and Garrett Neff in various modern takes on the classical nude.

Cover stars for i-D’s The Lights, Camera, Action Issue include none other than Andrej Pejić and Dree Hemmingway by Matt Jones, Léa Seydoux by Alasdair McLellan, Felicity Hayward by Mark Lebon, gyness Deyn by Scott Trindle, Andrew Garfield by Alasdair McLellan, Arizona Muse by Kayt Jones and of course Julia Restoin Roitfeld by Mario Sorrenti and Raf Simons by Willy Vanderperre (both of which were previewed on the KARLISMYUNKLE Facebook page last week). The set of covers can only be described as phenomenal. Check the all out below with more details over on i-D Online.
Check out this great set of photos from A Black And White Series by ADEEN featuring Andrej Pejic inspired by “different times, people and things in designer Rembrandt Duran’s life”. The photos were shot by the team at ADEEN with hair done by Kam Sudlow, styling by Hoza and makeup by Valerie Vonprisk. Especially love the CUNT trucker hat.
This month’s Schön Magazine cover stars are two major KARLISMYUNKLE favourites and it isn’t the first time they’ve teamed up! Fast becoming the fashion world’s “next big thing” (although they did sort of hit that point about six months ago), the alternative duo a la mode – Zombie Boy Rico Genest and Andrej Pejic are both featured on this month’s cover shot by Matthew Lyn (Rico) and Christos Karantzolas (Andrej). The magazine is available to buy now.
This has to be one of the most progressive magazine covers for a mainstream publication in history. I have loved the work of Andrej Pejic when JPG and Jeremy Scott first clocked him a few seasons ago. Here’s the world’s most marketable and iconic transversal model photographed by Brigitte Lacombe for the cover of New York Magazine’s fashion issue.
One of the coolest avant guard shoots that I have seen in a while. Here is Andrej Pejic (yes, again) in a concept shoot by Anthony Maule for the April 2011 issue of Dazed & Confused, styled by the fashion editor, Robbie Spencer. The spread features incredible pieces from KARLISMYUNKLE favourites Anne Demeulemeester, Gareth Pugh, Manish Arora and more. Kudos to Gary Card for the prop work.
Here is super androgynous model Andrej Pejic looking more boy-like than we’re used to for Marc by Marc Jacobs – something we promised you in December on the KARLISMYUNKLE Facebook page. Become a fan if you haven’t already. Gotta love the fact that we are starting off 2011 on an uber-transversal note.
