In just over ten days time, I will be in Paris for the launch of Karl Lagerfeld’s exclusive collaboration with shu uemura. In the same vein as Karl Lagerfeld for Diet Coke, the foundations of the shu uemura partnership are based on true authenticity. Not only has Karl been using Shu Uemura products (“they have the best colours”) to sketch (see below) for the last two decades, the designer was friends with the late makeup expert for 20 years.
