Earlier today, somewhat genius photographer (not to mention one of my favourites and the man behind the preview campaign images and video for Mugler by Formichetti), Mariano Vivanco posted the full Uomini book to his site. The images of the book, published by Rizzoli, are inspired by masculine archetypes, modern Adonis reminiscing of Greek and Roman traditions: the hero, the soldier and the sportsman.., and it was commissioned by Dolce & Gabbana. Stefano and Domenico have taste, but we already knew that. The last section of the book is also dedicated to Dolce veteran model, Tony Ward. Below are some preview images, but I would definitely recommend Uomini for your coffee table, and you can head over to Mariano Vivanco’s site for the full selection of images. You’ll recognise a lot of the images and models including Luke Worrall, Simon Nessman, David Gandy, Andrés Velencoso Segura from previous Dolce & Gabbana campaigns. All NSFW images below the cut.
